Who Can Play

All participant must read and sign our Waiver and Release Form as a condition to play. Parents of players under 18 must sign the waiver to allow them to play. Players must be 10 years of age to play.
How Games Work

Combat Archery features 75 minute game sessions. This consists of approximately 15 minutes of training and 60 minutes of gameplay. As time goes on the game modes become more and more exciting and at the end a champion will be crowned! If your game is at 4:00PM you will arrive at 3:45PM for training. When you think Combat Archery, think dodgeball, but with bows and arrows.
Does it hurt?

No it doesn't hurt! Unlike paintball, the only protective gear that is a safety mask. We provide archery arm-guards as an extra precaution.
Do I need to have experience shooting a bow?

No experience necessary! Its actually rare we have people with archery experience! Our staff fully trains everyone prior to combat! Combat Archery is for people of all experience levels. Your game ticket includes a short training session that will have you playing like a pro in no time!
What should I bring?

What’s your cancellation policy?

Nature Adventures has a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your tour or rental 24 hours in advance there will be no cancellation fee charged and you will be refunded the full amount. Special events and groups have a different cancellation policy.

Cancellation of tours/rentals within 24 hours, you will be charged the full amount of your trip. Keeping our tours small and our guides on call, other clients were prevented from booking and the guide scheduled was impacted.

Inclement weather cancellations will be determined by Nature Adventures when winds are too high and/or there is heavy rain/lightening. You will not be charged a cancellation fee and will be refunded the full amount if you are unable to move to a different date and time.

Special Events, large groups (10 or more people) and team building have a 7 day cancellation policy. Because we can only accommodate a fixed number of large groups daily, other clients are prevented from booking.

What Our Customers Think

Ben-jamin did a combat archery event for our son law and daughter. We had 49 participants play. Ages 65 to 10. Everyone of them had a blast. Charleston Combat Archery is great for everyone in the group.

This is so fun! My two teenage boys have played twice, and my husband joined them once. They played at the Citadel Mall events. It was very well run, everyone had fun! I would give it 5 stars if FB still had star ratings!

This was a blast. My husband has been trying to talk me into playing paintball but I’ve been too afraid so I compromised and did combat archery with him and I had the best time.

Payment/Refund Policy

Payment in full is required to reserve a time slot. Deposits are 100% refundable up to 14 days prior to the event date. Within 14 days - 72 hours, a cancellation without desire to reschedule results in a 50% refund. A cancellation less than 72 hours from the event date is non-refundable

Weather Policy

We play in a light rain. If inclement weather is predicted, rescheduling the event is required unless an indoor option is available (at an agreed upon added cost to the customer). If the group majority (51%) is not local making rescheduling easy or desired, a 100% credit toward any future service by On Purpose Adventures is offered.

*On Purpose Adventures can cancel due to inclement weather. We can play in light rain. If thunder and lightning occurs just prior to or during play, there will be a 30 minute delay in play. If we cannot continue, a pro-rated refund or credit will be allotted.*
